Legal Contract

Intended Parents and Surrogates will receive legal counsel by an attorney who specializes in Surrogacy, Egg Donation and/or Family Law. The Surrogate and the Intended Parents will each have separate counsel. The Surrogate’s attorney will be paid for by the Intended Parents. The Surrogate will enter into a legal contract with the Intended Parents. This legally binding contract should not be entered into lightly since the contract will cover issues such as compensation, legal obligations of the surrogate, conduct, and the termination of parental rights of the surrogate, etc.

Once all parties have read the contract changes may be made to it. Once the terms of the contract are finalized, then all parties will be required to sign the contract. Medications cannot begin until all parties have signed the contract.
